Chris Hurt lives in North Texas. He has been a youth minister for more than 17 years and is currently serving as the Senior Student Minister at First Baptist Church in Frisco. His creativity and promise not to make the Gospel boring is what has grown the ministry in his tenure. When not loving students at his church, he is on the road with Hurt and Manly Drama and has been doing this for more than 7 years. Chris loves to make people laugh and believes that God is a God of joy!
He is married to Shanda and she pretty much keeps him in line. They have two beautiful children (they take after their mother) named Chandler and Brooklyn. They have a 17 year old dog named Cosmo who is getting up in years. Chris cried like a school girl during “Marley and Me” so he will probably have to take a few days off when Cosmo leaves this earth.
