What format are your vidoes in?
All of our videos are in MPEG1 and Windows Media which can both be played through presentation software like MediaShout or SundayPlus. We also have an iPod version so you can take the videos on the go with you.
What if I can't find what I'm looking for?
Well, you could write a song about it. U2 got rich and famous that way! However, if you are looking for a specific script, enter the name of the script in the search field. If you don't know the name of the script, enter the subject matter of the script (i.e. for Beenie Weenies search evangelism).
To find a script on a specific topic, enter the topic into the search field. If you can't find a script that fits, try another word that is similar (i.e. can't find endurance, search for perseverance).
Other ways to search are by scripture verse and genre (i.e. comedy, drama).
We are constantly trying to improve ways to help you find the script you need. If you're still having trouble, then please contact us and we'll help you as best we can.
What is a sermon set-up?
In most churches it is a special song generally sung by someone with a great heart and a not so great voice. However, at skitguys.com a sermon set-up is a short script, usually 2-3 pages long, that is meant for a pastor or speaker to help illustrate the topic he is speaking about. They can also be used individually, but sometimes a sermon set-up will seem incomplete without a speaker using it in his sermon. (Oh yeah, we are sorry if you are the person who sings those set-up songs. We weren't talking about you. We think you should be the next American Idol!)
What if I need to change some wording or add/take away characters in the script to fit our drama team?
What do you think Shakespeare would say to you wanting to add/take away stuff in his script? What would Mrs. Brady say if you wanted to add/take away one of those adorable kids? We're not sure what they would say, but we say, ÒHave at it!Ó Our scripts are for you to use however you need.
How much does it cost to have The Skit Guys come to my church?
ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!! Okay, we're just joking. If you really are serious about Tommy and Eddie coming to your church and would like more information on booking The Skit Guys (or how much they cost), visit the booking page . Do The Skit Guys teach workshops?
Tommy and Eddie would mow your lawn. They are available to teach workshops, but it's a lot cheaper to buy the books they've written, Skitology 101 and Instant Skits. It's like buying The Guys and putting them on your shelf (and you don't have to clean up after them)!
