Jacqui Bloom

Jacqui Bloom is an actor, screenwriter, and improviser. After graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas State University, she immediately stopped doing musical theatre (whoops) and moved to Los Angeles to focus on on-camera acting and comedy. She was featured as a recurring sketch performer on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for several years, saying “yes” to all of the crazy antics asked of her.

Though she’s still a performer at heart, Jacqui realized her love for comedic sketch writing while attending the Second City Hollywood Conservatory, and began writing, producing, and acting in her own projects. She doubled down on writing, and recently graduated with an MFA in Screenwriting from UT Austin.

While she kept her love for Jesus and her comedy career separate for many years, the Holy Spirit has not-so-subtly redirected her, and she is now focused on writing and collaborating on comedic faith-based feature films and sketches.

She currently lives in Texas with her husband Dustin, their fast-as-lightning toddler Judah, and the two stars of the household: Mo and Beans (dogs).
