Christmas 2011 is just around the corner and we know it's never too early to begin preparing your Christmas dramas. We thought it might be helpful to show our Top 10 most downloaded scripts from Christmas 2010. We are always adding new scripts, so be sure to see our latest list of Christmas Skits and Plays. What If? Script

A series of questions proposing what would have been missed if the shepherds had used excuses to not visit the baby Jesus. Those questions parallel the excuses people use today to avoid meeting Jesus in a personal way.

He Came to Get Messy Script

Do you ever feel that God is nowhere near and can’t understand your pain? Over 2000 years ago, Jesus, God’s Son, came into the world, not as royalty but as a baby born in a stable full of muck and animals. This script reminds us of the sacrifice that Jesus made by humbling himself to become one of us. It was a dirty job and he didn’t have to do it…but the world is changed because he did.

The Innkeeper’s Dilemma (Duet Version) Script

This drama tells the story of Stuart, an innkeeper, and his quest to find meaning in his life. Along the way he encounters some shepherds, a wiseman, and his family who help him see that God has provided purpose in the little baby that has been born in the stable.

A mom gets so caught up in all the activities of Christmas that she forgets to be thankful for why we celebrate Christmas in the first place.

From Luke 2, the story of Christ is read with verses of praise in between. This reading gives your congregation reason to actively participate in your Christmas worship service.

Give The Gift Back: A Christmas Play Script

This play begins by portraying the typical “manger story” telling of Christmas in a sort of tongue in cheek way. A Wiseman is picking his nose, the shepherds are “baaaaing” too loudly and Joseph almost drops baby Jesus, to name just a few. The audience is led to believe that they are actually watching what they came to watch. But soon the action turns not to the Christmas pageant play they just witnessed but to the players and what Christmas Eve looks like in their homes when the show is over and exactly where the Christmas spirit can be found when the manger is put into storage for another year.

It’s A Wonderful Fruitcake Script

A family receives their yearly fruitcake from a dear-old aunt, but never opens them. This year they discover they’ve been missing the real gift.

Dad vs Bike Script

A Dad gives up on the directions that came with his child’s bike the night before Christmas as the Mom draws the parallel that God never wanted us to put together our lives without help.
