Loving God As Your Father

An unexpected hug and kiss, a shared laugh, a thoughtful gesture, or a simple “I love you.” If you’re a parent you know there’s no greater joy than when your children choose to show their love for you—not because they feel like they have to or because they’re expecting something in return, but just because they want you to know they love you.

How to Make Lemonade

Nothing says summer like lemonade. Last year some kids in my neighborhood set up a lemonade stand and sold it for two dollars a cup. Some say rip-off, others say brilliant! They made close to $250 in a couple days. It’s amazing that a lemon, a fruit practically inedible on its own, can be turned into a much loved beverage with a little sugar and water. Living To Hit The Mark

There are some people reading this who know exactly what God has called them to do and how they can best serve him. But there are more than a few others out there who struggle to figure out how we fit in to God’s big picture. There’s so much pressure to make something of yourself. With such huge expectations it’s no wonder so many lose focus and, before long, lose their motivation to even try.
