The Field of Eternity

Read This:

"But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." 2 Peter 3:8-9

Happy New Year from the Skit Guys! As we step into 2025, let’s take a moment to view this year through the lens of eternity. 2 Peter 3:8-9 reminds us that God isn’t bound by time. He sees the beginning and the end, and His timing is always perfect—even when it doesn’t match ours. It's easy to try and take matters into our own hands, but sometimes all He requires of us is our trust.

As we head into this new year, let's trust the One who is over even time itself. Whether your plans soar or stumble, God's faithfulness remains steady. All he asks is that we trust Him and take one step at a time.

Ask: What do I want to leave behind me from 2024, and what do I want to trust the Lord with as I begin 2025?

Pray:

Father, I thank you that I do not have to worry about tomorrow. I thank you that I can trust you with each and every one of my plans. Thank you that you are perfect, righteous, and over ALL. Help me to trust you more. Amen
