What Is God's Will? - Devotional

Read This: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)

Think: Who do I marry? Am I supposed to take that job? Pepsi or Coke? And the list goes on. We can become paralyzed when the questions begin to stack up and we don't feel as though we have the answers. Ultimately, we just want to know what God's will is. Here's the deal, we don't think it's as complicated as we tend to make it. Scripture says to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. When we allow the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to transform our minds, we can walk without fear as we are guided by the Holy Spirit. God's will is simply this, that we walk with Him hand in hand, day to day trusting in Him and listening for His voice and choosing obedience.

Ask: Am I trusting the as I seek Him, He will guide me and speak to me? Do I trust that He is a loving father and will show up? Do I believe that no matter what, He will never leave me? Then I can walk in freedom and without fear.

Pray: Father, help me to trust in your guidance rather than being paralyzed in fear. Help me be decisive when I need to be and to walk in confidence trusting in you the whole way. As I seek your face reveal more of yourself to me. Amen
