What We Need - Devotional

Read This: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Think: Nobody is perfect. Everyone faces trials. Nobody here can claim to be a superhero, able to leap a building in a single bound and overcome the world's calamities on their own. Let's face it, we all need help sometimes. And the One who is standing by, ready to be there even before we ask, is available (and willing!) to help us.

Ask: Ask God to help you notice the times you need His help. What would it look like for you to acknowledge that you can't do it without Him?

Pray: Lord, please help me to be OK with the fact that I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, and sometimes I just need help. Remind me that Your power is made perfect in my weakness, and to reach out when I need You. Amen.
