Stories from Beyond Bedtime Bible Stories: Abby

Abby is from Michigan, and first heard of The Skit Guys a long time ago when looking for materials for her church and found some of their videos and scripts. Years later, in January 2020, she encountered them on the K-LOVE cruise. "I got to meet them a couple times on the boat and realized what genuine nice guys they are," Abby said. (Abby is pictured with Tommy & Eddie on 80s night of the cruise!) She and her parents (also on the cruise) became instant fans. They purchased tickets to a live show, which was canceled due to COVID, so instead they watched the Skit Guys DVD they purchased, along with YouTube videos and Bedtime Bible Stories.

She and her family went through an emotional time when a family member was diagnosed with COVID. "BBS provided a peace and reminder that God's got it, and to keep trusting Him," Abby shared. (Her family member has since recovered!) During that time, Abby was working 50+ hour work weeks and BBS "provided a nice calm and relaxing time for me to unwind." When asked why she wanted to donate to support The Skit Guys ministry, Abby said, "I figured me giving to the ministry was the least that I could do as a thank you for what they did for me and my family, not only during the hard time, but also just for being such genuine, caring guys."
