Cara has always loved good stories, especially those that make you laugh or cry. At the age of 12,whenshe had her first taste of acting in a community theatre production, she was hooked. Following the dream through college, Cara worked professionally as an actress for a few years in Los Angeles before an even greater Love captured her heart. When Cara became a follower of Jesus, everything changed! In addition to her work on stage, she was the principal sketch writer for Drawing Water—a performance ministry that toured throughout the Pacific Northwest for 14 years. Through the years she also wrote and directed several sketches for churches and charitable fundraising events. Today Cara joyfully coordinates a drama ministry team in her home church, and since completing the writing of her book, More Than We Imagine-Stories of a Living Hope, she isin the planning stages of bringing story-telling events to her home town.

Cara lives in Texas with her smart, funny, and incredibly supportive husband of over 30 years, Tim, and a certain mini-schnauzer who is lovable, if a little dim.www.carawalter.com
