Praying Intentionally

Prayer is one of the most vital aspects of our relationship with God. As sons and daughters of the King, it’s our awesome privilege to be able to enter his throne room and drink from the Spirit of the living God. It’s in our times of prayer that we draw near to God to worship, confess, rest, and refresh.

We complain about the weather, our jobs, traffic, the lines at the store, lack of parking, the cost of gas, the school system, and the list goes on. And even after all our grumbling, we don’t feel any better; we usually feel worse and so do the people around us. Negativity is highly contagious.

As we approach Easter Sunday and enter into a time of reflection, I’m again blown away by all the pieces that fell into place to fulfill the prophecies recorded long before Jesus was born. From the events surrounding his birth, to John the Baptist, to the donkey Jesus used to enter Jerusalem, and ultimately his death on a cross, God used ordinary people to accomplish his extraordinary purpose.

The following is a list of Easter scripts that are simple enough to throw together for your Easter Sunday service. These scripts are make up of short scripts, readers threatre or monologues that don't require group rehearsal time.
