The Lazarus Network: Leo

This is a loose modern-day take on Lazarus. Leo, a recovering drug addict, recounts how he went from Leo the Loser to Leo the Loved and Living.

The monologue stands on its own but is also designed to be the last in a series of five monologues by characters tied to a modern-day version of the Biblical story of Lazarus. In this retelling, he is the grandson of the Mary stand-in, cousin of the Martha stand-in, and nephew of the Peter stand-in.

NOTE: This script has two endings. The dark ending leaves more questions open. The light ending finishes on a more hopeful, inspirational note.
