The Vessel- An Easter Reader’s Theater
$12.99USD
In the Old Testament, a wash basin was used to cleanse priests before entering the presence of God. At Passover, Jesus dipped cloth into water and cleansed the disciples' feet. Before the crucifixion, Pilate washed his hands in a bowl in front of the crowd to try to wash away the guilt of condemning an innocent man. Today, we are God’s vessels, carrying the Holy Spirit that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. This Easter Reader’s Theater, which can also be adapted into a traditional skit, uses the imagery of a vessel to illustrate the gift of cleansing through Jesus’ death on the cross.
