In this Readers Theater packed with Scripture, we celebrate God's promises kept through the advent of Jesus and reassures us that His promise to return is trustworthy.

Mary and her father are writing letters to each other, revealing how he doubts the truth behind her pregnancy and the identity of her young son. This script is a blend of reader’s theater and an acted scene.

As Hannah meets with a counselor for the first time, she bemoans the holidays which makes her feel guilty and ashamed. Ultimately, she realizes what it means to truly be forgiven.

A beam of light still shines in the sky two days after the angel visited the shepherds in the fields surrounding Bethlehem. Shep and Hurd, two of those shepherds, recount the radical moment when the hills were filled with fire and music. Their humorous retelling captures the revolutionary moment in which heaven forever transformed the earth and turned two shepherds into witnesses.

This series consists of 5 scripts; The Prophet’s Candle (symbolizing Hope), The Bethlehem Candle (symbolizing Faith), The Shepherd’s Candle (symbolizing Joy), The Angel’s Candle (symbolizing Peace), The Christ Candle (symbolizing Love). They can be performed all at once as one large Christmas production with the lighting of each Advent candle after the correlating script or they can be performed one at a time, correlating with the weekly lighting of an Advent Candle, with the 5th and final candle being lit at a Christmas Day or Christmas Eve service.

Stuart recounts a busy night when he had no room for a young couple but let them stay in the barn. He talks with a traveler, a shepherd, and a wise man (all of whom saw a star above his barn) and eventually realizes that the Messiah has been born there. When an infant Savior arrives, five ordinary people find their lives upended and forever changed. In this ensemble script, the stories of Mary, Joseph, a Wise Man, a Shepherd, and the Innkeeper all point to the miraculous birth of Jesus and the impact His life will have on them (and the world). This full play incorporates pieces of the individual scripts from The Christmas Dilemma series and creates one moving piece that can be performed for a special Christmas service or event. Jenny is worked up about all the Christmas details she needs to get in place, like presents and lights and a Christmas Eve bounce house. Vanessa tries to remind her that the nativity and the hope of Jesus' birth are what need to be the focus instead.

He looks for the meaning on a trip to Tinseltown but is that truly where Christmas can be found? Or is the little road that leads to Bethlehem the road that will grant his final wish even if it’s the road less taken? Join Rooty and his evergreen friends and follow them to the end and discover that with Jesus, who you are will always be enough. No need for flounces and fluff. Even though things were hectic and crowded, the innkeeper said, "Yes" when he showed Mary and Joseph to the unprepared stable. This Christmas monologue reminds us that we can say, "Yes" to Jesus, no matter how hectic and unprepared our lives seem.

This modern-day Scrooge story follows Phil, a well-meaning husband and dad, who continues to overbook himself during the Christmas season, often leaving his family and the manger out completely.
