Throughout the history of our nation, countless patriots have given their very lives defending our right and privilege to select our nation’s leaders. However, in the last presidential election, over 93 million eligible citizens choose not to vote. Our nation is plagued by an epidemic of apathy. The National Day of Prayer Task Force has developed the “Pray For Election Day” campaign to encourage prayer for our nations leaders, boost voter registration, and to inspire Christians to vote their values. Find out more about this campaign at www.nationaldayofprayer.org.
Money, tithing, and stewardship can be challenging topics to address with your congregation. However, this uplifting video makes it easy to share Biblical principles about giving, showing that God has a plan to bless us and others when we are faithful to follow His commands. God owns everything. When we tithe, we are simply giving back to God what is already His. When we begin to live out this truth, that’s when God works through our finances to glorify Himself. This video will make a great addition to your worship service when you are preaching on the topics of money, tithing, stewardship, or giving.
Cain and Abel brought offerings to the Lord but only Abel’s was accepted. Why did God reject Cain’s offering? This mini-movie looks at the principal of the firstfruit and why it’s central to our giving. This video could be used with a message on tithing (e.g. - Putting God first in your finances) but the concept of firstfruits extends to every aspect of our lives. God doesn’t accept leftovers; God must be first.
